Corel — Draw 13
Before X3, converting a low-resolution bitmap image (like a JPEG or PNG) into a clean, scalable vector file required opening a completely separate application called Corel OCR-TRACE. X3 integrated directly into the main workspace. Designers could convert images with a single click.
For the apparel and print industry, CorelDRAW 13 was a massive upgrade. It offered superior support for PANTONE spot colors, improved overprint previews, and an enhanced print engine that drastically reduced rasterization errors during output to plates or vinyl cutters.
