Using cracked software is a violation of intellectual property law. It deprives the developers at Spectrasonics (a relatively small, independent software house) of deserved income, which ultimately funds future development and updates. Furthermore, users of cracked versions cannot receive official updates, bug fixes, or technical support from Spectrasonics.
: Legacy archives split across multiple volumes frequently suffer from CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) errors. If one byte is corrupted on Disc 4, the entire installation fails.
The use of "R2R" or "Dynamics" releases carries significant risks.
