Bloom Up made its world premiere at Canada's prestigious Hot Docs Documentary Film Festival in 2021. It was later picked up for North American distribution by the renowned arthouse distributor Kino Lorber. Kino Lorber strategically planned a theatrical release just ahead of International Swingers Day on August 13th. The film also screened at other international festivals, including the Atlàntida Film Fest in Spain, and received a theatrical release in South Korea.
