Texas Chainsaw 3D is a 2013 American horror film directed by John Luessenhop and written by Luessenhop, Ilana C. Myer, and Adam DeVine. The movie is a sequel to the 1974 film The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. The story follows Sally, the last surviving member of a group of friends who were stalked by the Leatherface family.

The story kicks off right where the 1974 classic ended. The angry townspeople of Newt, Texas, burn down the house of the notorious Sawyer family, seemingly destroying the murderous clan. Decades later, a young woman named Heather Miller discovers that she has inherited a massive, isolated Texas estate from a grandmother she never knew she had.
