The plot is one of the most iconic in cinema history. Phil Connors (Bill Murray), a cynical and egotistical Pittsburgh TV weatherman, is sent on what he considers a humiliating assignment: covering the annual "Groundhog Day" festival in the small town of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.
