Start the application as you normally would. Instead of using your system‘s GPU, it will now load the SwiftShader DLL and begin rendering everything on your CPU. For modern applications, note that SwiftShader’s Vulkan implementation uses the libvk_swiftshader.dll (which can be renamed to vulkan-1.dll ) and requires setting the VK_ICD_FILENAMES environment variable to the path of its JSON file.
