The ST-7, officially "Notice of Initial Medical Care and Classification of Probable Work Risk", is an official IMSS document that must be filled out when a worker suffers an accident during work hours or on the way to/from their job.
For General Illness, the worker must have immediately prior to the disability. For Maternity, 30 weeks of contributions in the last 12 months are required. The subsidy is generally paid for a maximum of 52 weeks, extendable by another 26 weeks if medical recovery requires it.
