If you have a large game file, transferring it wirelessly via FTP can be slow. You can mount the Vita as a USB drive on your PC.

We strongly recommend dumping your own game cartridges using a tool like nonpdrm rather than downloading VPKs of commercial games from random websites.

Some popular VPK files for the PS Vita include:

Disconnect the Vita and browse to the transferred folder using VitaShell.

Technically, a VPK file is a renamed .zip archive. When you "install" a VPK on your Vita, the system extracts these contents into a specific directory (usually ux0:app/[TITLE_ID] ) where the console can then launch it like a standard game bubble.

Press the button. (Note: If it defaults to FTP, press Start to open the settings menu, change "USB device" to your desired storage, and change "Select button" to "USB"). Connect your Vita to your computer using a USB cable.

A legitimate VPK will contain a valid eboot.bin that has been decrypted or signed with a fake signature (enabled by CFW).

On your PC, open an FTP client like or use the default Windows File Explorer.
