The film follows Ani, a young Uzbek-American sex worker from Brooklyn. Her life takes an unexpected, Cinderella-like turn when she meets Vanya, the spoiled son of a Russian oligarch. After a whirlwind romance, the two impulsively elope in Las Vegas.
