The relationship between your Ryujinx firmware and your game library is straightforward but critical. Each Switch game is compiled to run on a specific version of the system software. If your firmware is too old, the game will fail to launch or crash during the loading screen.

Because of legal restrictions, Ryujinx cannot bundle firmware or keys with the emulator. You must dump these from your own Nintendo Switch console.
