One of the biggest frustrations is finding that a US save doesn't work on your European copy of the game. However, a solution exists using a custom plugin called developed by Patrickneyl.
For on the PSP, European save data is typically identified by the region code ULES00502 . This region code is essential because save files are generally region-locked; a European (EU) save will not work with a North American (NA) copy of the game without specialized plugins. Navigate to your computer's Documents folder. Open PPSSPP > PSP > SAVEDATA . Drop the unzipped folder there.
