Unlike standard "estado del mar" apps (which show wave height, wind force, and swell direction), this one had a single live map. But it wasn't showing the surface. It showed the deep sea —real-time heat plumes from hydrothermal vents, methane seeps, and underwater volcanoes. A legend at the bottom read: “Thermal Anomaly Index: HOT.”
