Films Restored: By The Film Foundation ((full))
In 2007, The Film Foundation expanded its mission globally by launching the World Cinema Project (WCP). Recognizing that Western films receive the majority of preservation funding, the WCP dedicates resources to rescuing criminally neglected films from Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. To date, the project has restored dozens of films from over 25 countries, fundamentally expanding the accepted canon of international cinema.
